Water: keep soil moderately moist during germination, prefers drier soil once established.

Spacing: 12 to 18 inches apart in flower beds

Germination Time: 10 to 14 days


Amaranthus produces bright red, rope-like tassels of flowers that can be up to two feet long.  Amaranthus will bloom throughout the summer and into autumn.  The plants will grow up to 5 feet in height.
