Water: keep soil moist during germination, once established, drought tolerant

Soil:  cover with about 1/4 inch of well-drained soil

Germination Time: two to three weeks


Not related to the non-vining black-eyed susan, the Black-Eyed Susan Vine will grow to a height of up to 5 feet.  It grows as a perennial in warmer areas, but can be grown as an annual in cooler areas.  Use a trellis to allow the black-eyed susan vine room to grow.
