Water: keep soil moderately moist during germination, water well to avoid premature heading and flowering

Spacing: 3 to 4 inch spacing in rows 24 to 36 inches apart

Broccoli grows best in cooler seasons when the temperatures are 5 to 21 degrees Celsius (41 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit).  Harvest when the buds begin to spread out.   Plant in spring after the last frost or in the late summer / early autumn about 10 to 12 weeks before the first frost.
