Cabbage does well with warm days and cool nights.  It needs rich soil and plenty of spacing.  As with other Brassica plants, crop rotation is important.  Cabbage can be stored post harvest at temperatures close to freezing in a high humidity environment.  Storing under dry conditions will lead to wilting.
