Given their tolerance of a variety of soil and light conditions, nasturtiums are one of the easiest flowers to grow from seed which makes them an excellent plant for young gardeners.  The seeds are also large which makes them easier for small hands to handle.  Nasturtium can be planted outdoors after the last frost in the spring.  Nasturtiums will bloom from the summer until the first frost of autumn.
